A new addition to our farm this spring is our new Irish Dexter heifer! She is the beginning of our "hopeful" dairy cow program. We plan to breed her to our miniature Jersey bull this fall, and should have fresh, raw cow milk next year! We are excited!
Our colonies of Italian honey bees are doing GREAT! Dale is in his second year of beekeeping...and will have farm-fresh honey available this Fall! And believe it or not, despite all of our inexperience with bees, none of us have gotten stung, or even been bothered by the bees. They are pretty peaceful bunch of bees! Praise God for that!
Milk and eggs are “a-plenty” this spring, so come on over and try some! Or just bring the kids by to visit! Blessings to you and yours!!!

Just like everywhere, it has been very HOT here on the farm! We are spending lots of time just trying to keep all of our critters cool. Check out the photo of Helen, the goat, lounging in the duck’s pool! Gotta keep those girls happy so they produce lots of that wonderful, delicious milk! :-)
All of our babies are growing, and many of them have already left our farm. We do have a few critters still available. Please check out our FOR SALE PAGE for more info!!
We have enjoyed showing our critters at various shows throughout the summer, and placed very well with our African geese, Royal Palm turkeys, horses, and Mini-rex rabbits. This year was just too busy, but next year we hope to compete at the state fair level.
Have you been out to visit? We have hosted groups from Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Easter Seals. We enjoy company, and love to educate “city slickers” on the joys of farm life. Stop by some time! See ya' soon! :-)
