Nestled in the Heart of Central Illinois

Rainbow Family Farm is a small, family run farm offering Farm Fresh Eggs, Pasture-fed Chickens, Turkeys, Geese and Goats. RFF is located on the Sangamon River in central Illinois, right beside Abraham Lincoln's first Illinois homestead. Our "all natural" farm is raising the best meat and eggs that nature can grow! This is clover and alfalfa honey, and it is...delicious!

Slowing Down...

Well, Winter is upon us and we (and the critters) are slowing down. We have observed that our animals naturally slow down for the Winter, conserving energy, looking forward to Spring...and we plan to do the same :-)

We will plan new projects, work in the barn repairing stalls and the chicken coop, as well as sitting at home enjoying each other's company drinking LOTS of hot cocoa :-)
